Enchoro Safari Tented Camp boasts numerous well maintained grass areas and an abundance of different varieties of trees making the surroundings in the Safari camp very enjoyable, this makes the tented camp very popular for groups, families and children as it have a safe and secure scenic environment for children to play.
  Enchoro Wildlife Camp is able to cater for a maximum of 50 adult guests in three different styles of safari camps accommodation however for special events more guests can be accommodated with prior arrangement. All rooms in our tented camps have scenic views over the Mara with a sit for hour’s veranda with outside chairs.
  Each of these accommodation options are designed to suite different traveller’s needs but high standard of service is maintained thought the camp no matter what option you choose.

Dining Facilities.
Enchoro Wildlife Camp has an open air dining room overlooking the Masai Mara National Game Reserve, which we use for Dinner, breakfast and lunch. Tables are arranged for individual groups or couples as they wish. The informal dining room and sitting rooms are comfortable, open and airy. They enjoy uninterrupted views of Masai Mara Enchoro Safari Camp whose ever-changing natural setting attract birds and other wildlife.
All meals are relaxed and casual, served in the dining room or in the bush, or even on Utumaduni our traditional Gazebo.
The availability of wonderful, fresh vegetables and tropical fruit dictates most menus but Enchoro Wildlife Camp offers wholesome, nutritious home-cooked menus from all over the world to suit any palate. Our chefs can easily cater to the demands of children and those on special diets.
There is a separate sitting room (Gazebo) our fire place and bar area on the side of the dinning which we use mainly during the day and pre-dinner drinks in the evenings as you enjoy the evening campfire with some traditional Masai Dances or at sun downer by the time the sun begins to set and the night creatures, insects and wildlife start to tune up for the evening symphony.

This is ideal for children and well enough away so not to disturb the other guests. We do pick up service if you travel from overseas to Kenya through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. All you need to do to confirm your airport pick up is to provide flight details to facilitate the service which costs only ksh 1500 to any point in Nairobi City Centre.
To Get to Enchoro Wildlife Camp in Masai Mara from Nairobi there are daily shuttles which depart every hour to Narok town from Nyamakima Bus stop on river road Nairobi. Connect in Narok town with another Shuttle bus or Matatus to Masai Mara Oloolaimutia town both matatu and Shuttle drop or pick you up from the Enchoro Wildlife Camp if you request the driver to do so. (Please enquire about private transfer)
Alternatively, Enchoro Wildlife Camp Masai Mara operates its own tours to Masai Mara National Reserve. A 3 Days 2 Nights Safari depart daily at 8.00 am from the Nairobi International Youth Hostel, Upper Hill on Ralph Bunche Road-Next to Nairobi Hospital Our reception area is open and has an activity desk that can deal with any enquiries about local activities like visits to local masai villages, game drives, nature walks among other information on various touristic activities in Masai Mara not forgetting being entertained by the Masai Moran’s (young men) and Women on Masai traditional dances.
Safe keeping facility is available free of charge at the Camp warden’s office to lock up your valuables, ensuring a peace of mind on your trip.

Amboseli National Park has many attractions. These include:

Amboseli is a flat dry land which is located at the Southern part of Kenya. Its is endowed with all the beauty of nature which makes it Tourist addict part in Kenya. Most people who have visited the park have always found themselves coming back for more.

Its one of the best places to see elephants in Kenya. Underground water from the Kilimanjaro upwells big swamps and marshes, rich in Cyprus and papyrus, which provide water and forage for wildlife during dry seasons.It’s thrilling to get some pictures of elephants grazing fresh grass from the swamps in front of the Mount Kilimanjaro. To do so, one needs to wake up early not later than 7 am as the Kilimanjaro becomes a mass of clouds after 10 am even if the sky is blue and unclouded. With a professional guide one can go around the main one of Amboseli Ol Tukai swamps as elephants are coming down from the mountain to feed in the swampy areas. Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli.
Depart in the morning and drive south to Namanga, the Kenya-Tanzania border for lunch. After lunch enter into Amboseli National Park with game-drive until 6.30 pm Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 2: Amboseli
Full day of game viewing in the Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Masai Mara

                     

Masai Mara is one of the remarkable wildlife attractions that make's Kenya one of the best wildlife destinations in the world. It was awarded its title for its variety of game.

The annual Wildebeest Migration at the Maasai Mara is a natural cycle that replenishes and renews the grasslands of East Africa.

There is no better time to visit the Mara than during the Great Migration. The sound of the approaching herd is a deep, primal rumbling of thundering hooves and low grunts.

In the struggle across the Mara River, many are drowned or swept away by strong currents. The crossing attracts massive crocodiles who each year awaits this season of festive. By September the herds will begin reaching their goal, and spreading out to graze across the expanse of Mara. Below is the program one can take to experience the 7th Wonder of Masai Mara.

YHA Travel 4 Days Wildebeest migration in Maasai Mara.

Day 1: Nairobi-Maasai Mara
Pick up from your hotel in the morning and head west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve for lunch at the campsite followed by afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Enchoro Wildlife Camp.

Days 2: Maasai Mara
A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wild life to be found in Kenya. All meals and overnight in the campsite.

Day 3: Maasai Mara
Morning game drive in Masaai Mara with an afternoon optional visit to the Maasai villages or nature walk with Maasai guides, return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Maasai Mara-Nairobi
Pre breakfast game drive, return to the campsite for late breakfast, and leave campsite and proceed to Nairobi with lunch enroute arriving late afternoon.

Samburu National Reserve.

The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa Oryx. These are also referred to as Samburu Special Five.There are various activities that visitors can engage in while residing at the reserve. These activities include: game drives, bird watching, bush breakfast, nature walks, river rafting depending on the river water level and the Samburu cultural experience.

As a wildlife preserve, it doesn't disappoint sightings of the Big Five Elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Cheetah sightings are particularly good, too, and do look out for those fabulously unwieldy kori bustards the largest flying birds on Earth. To explore Samburu, the following program is best.
